I very much enjoyed it. I love how they set up the city and have the train system. That is really cool. I love seeing that type of stuff because I like learning about different cultures and that applies to Avatar World Cultures. The different animals were awesome. What did y'all like the best? And what do you think could happen in Ba-Sing-Se? ('Cause Earth=Spring and the earth capital could have some lovin'!  Wink )

Ha ha ha, he was cute. I wonder what the bear does if he is dressed up. I wonder if there are anymore earth bending animals.

Well, you'd need a freaking huge army to be able to invade that city. Even if you break through the wall, you need to invade fast & effectively with a large number of troops. Cuz the smaller the army, the more spread out & easy to pick off your troops become.

Plus, all those houses are just perfect for Earth snipers to pick off Fire troops! The train system could deliver Earth reinforcements to a wall breach quickly to stop the Firebenders.

I'm getting a little too strategic here, aren't I? It's a habit.

Yeah, that city is huge and virtually indestructible... Before I saw this, I thought that Iroh was a lousy warrior and that was why he couldn't envade and destroy the city... But now that I see how cool it actually is, I take my words back. And I love Iroh, for his calm speech in all occasions, for his tea-drinking, his humour, his fighting techniques, lightning re-direction and so much more! He's truly awesome... And I wonder how big Ba Sing Se is in diameter... 50 km? Though it seems more, just look at how much space it occupies on the world map... And its wall must be more than 20 meters thick... Anyways, now I see why it's so hard to break into...

Eh, any city can be invaded/destroyed/seiged/taken over.  It just depends on if the invaders are determined enough to get in, and if they have enough supplies and men.

But anyways, Ba-Sing-Se, is dam beautiful.  If like that its a fortress/city (I love fortresses).

Yeah it is very beautiful. I can see why it has been so hard to break into. I want to see Zuko on a date and the earth bending ninjas. It almost looks like a secret service doesnt it?

I actually laughed at loud at the comparison between Ba Sing Se and Los Angeles, because when I first saw a screenshot of the overhead view about a month ago, my exact thoughts were that it was very similar to L.A., with the endless acres of urban sprawl. The monorail tracks look a lot like the freeways out here too.

Great video, Ba-Sing Se does look like an ancient Chinese Los Angeles.

I just love the whole design of the city, the trains piloted by Earthbenders are great. And for a random thought, the shot of the outer walls look's alot like the Great wall of China.

I think Ba Sing Se is so awesome...it's just wonderful and beautiful, I wonder what city inspired this place(you know Venice inspired the North)...any ideas...and a little off topic, in the preview on Nick today I saw this Earth kingdom soldier fall and Ty Lee standing in the middle of a hundered of them, likely dead or paralyzed...I was just like wow..

I really like how they made Ba Sing Se so different from Omashu. It gives the show that much more personality. I'm looking forward to see how Ba Sing Se is organized. Like the poor neighborhoods, the rich neighborhoods, the downtown area, the shopping district ect. ect. (Although we probably won't be walked through all of that during the show  Sad) It's just nice to see something I can relate to, I suppose. Cheesy

I just posted who I think Zuko's mystery date is (with a photo comparison) in the spoiler thread, in case anyone's interested. I'm almost 100% sure that's who it is. The hair is identical.

Me! That was the cutest little thing! Of course, the baby sabertooth moose lion was adorable as well, but I wouldn't want that as a pet..
