Although I complained about Katara wasting time in the previous episode, I enjoyed this episode. Sokka haa always been my favorite character in the gaang, so seeing him get the spotlight was kind of cool. I liked Piandao and the hint about the White Lotus at the end. Though it didn't really go anywhere. I thought Sokka was going to find his way into a White Lotus base and join the organization, instead he ran into it by chance in the finale.

Iroh had the most useless sublot in the show. Did we need to see him work-out?

I also liked Toph and her school girl crush. It was cute.

Wasn't it relevant foreshadowing for his offscreen breakout later in the season? A breakout so spectacular, the guard could barely find any words to describe it.

They could have just left that to the imagination, which in a way, they already did.
