AMAZING.

I absolutely LOVED the tidbits that could be wildly misinterpreted for the purposes of Tokka.
Like Toph elbowing Aang at his comment of "He DOES have a heart!"
And the fact that she was holding his arm again. (Except when Sokka was fighting with Katara.) Grin

I also liked the fact that they brought up that the eclipse is only a really short event. Not a whole day.

It was very, very good for a filler episode.

Wow, awasome episode. The Painted Lady is real, but Katara was the one helping the village. Katara must have heard about the legend of the Painted Lady, and pretended to be her. Actully what Katara was pull a Scooby Doo villan, findingout about a mytical figure and pretended to be it,only for good this time.

A lot of this episode reminded me of Zuko Alone shoulders bulling their citizens who they are suppose to protect, just like those Earth Kingdom soulders. And intianally were ingrads like those people from that village in Zuko Alone, only this time they came to their sences.

As far as showing gratitute for help from someone from an enemy nation,in the small villages, it is:

Fire Nation- 1

Earth Kingdom - 0

I gave this episode a 3

I really didn't like this episode...at all. The plot of this episodes wasn't that exciting, there wasn't any funny jokes, the final battle was only like 30 seconds, and it wasn't entertaining.

geez the painted lady sucked hard

basically katara once agains shows off her god-like water bending powers while forcing an eco friendly "the only way to change things is to do something about it moral" down everyone's throats.

no zuko >.>
i find zuko/iroh-less episodes are usually pretty bad..

i can't believe there wasn't a single guard in that whole factory

you'd think someone would be like "omg huge freakin noises from the factory? well that's normal!!"

and what was with that poltergeist "shee's heere!!" kid?
what an odd thing to reference

Man that was a good episode. I give it a 10 for entertainment purposes. I was really bored this week. This cheered me up. Funny too. My favorite part was when aang and sokka were making spirit noises.  Cheesy

Wow, I love the end when the Painted Lady said Thank you. To me, she embodies all the inspirational women in the show.
Like Ursa.
I loved her Yue entrance also.
I loved Doc and Shu and Banshu.
WHERE HAVE YOU GONE ZUKO?!
I was hoping they would fit him in there somehow, the next episode sholuld have atleast 5 minutes of Royalty.

I'll say this though:

They sure cleaned up that dirty river veery fast. But meh, I liked the episode. Nothing really important happened...yet. And it wasn't horrible or preachy. Better than Avatar Day.

But super Katara is getitng kinda annoying...Sokka was funny in this though. Toph was better. When katara hugged Sokka, Toph hit Aang.  Tongue

Yeah, was a nice episode. I liked how the Aang Gaang teamed up there at the end to pull off the "Painted Lady" thing against the Fire Nation guy. Was too good. I also loved the part where Aang called her a pretty spirit, unlike the rest, then found out it was Katara. He was genuinely surprised. He's so clueless sometimes, haha. The short Toph moments were great too.

The Shippy episode was hilarious too. Poor Aang/Zuko. =(

Either way, another decent-good "filler" episode. I liked it all the same. Looks like a great episode next week. Sokka and sword play, just what we need!

Alright this was the weakest episode of the 3 season.
Katara did they same thing she did in imprisoned taking up hundreds of dollars in animation for her to do a boring speech.
Thank God for Toph, who is funny as all hell and Sokka, the only one with common sense, for episode not totally about Katara (Since it was 90% about her)

Katara is an annoying character, I'm sorry, but she is.
I know she wants to help, but can she help defeat Ozai first.
Plus, does anyone think about the people a living from the factory.
War is expenside and draining they have to make money too.

Only a decent episode.  I thought Katara was pretty annoying, and Sokka entirely in the right, throughout.

The real Painted Lady showing up in the end was pretty strange.  I expected her to do so, but I presumed she'd actually contribute in some way.  It would be like "Hey, good job, Katara, but how did you make the thunderstorm?" and she'd look confused then slowly it would dawn on her and she'd admit "I didn't."  They'd share a look of disbelief and peer into the distance, spying a figure standing out on the water.  Instead it was just "Hey, thanks for doing my job."

And how did Katara manage to elude Aang on foot for so long?

These complaints aside, though, the village design and the villagers' animations were very cool, and seeing Sokka and Aang team up to describe spirit magic was quite hilarious.  Doc/Shu/Bushi was funny too, as were Toph, Sokka, and Aang.

That was okay, but the Tokka was the best. The Taang totally downed my vibe, though.

Yes, it reminded me of Zuko Alone with the ungrateful people hating someone who saved them.

But since they know she's a waterbender, maybe that's how CM...

I ,<3 this episode. Instead of writing long paragraphs, like I normally do, I shall break it down in bullet form:

Positives:
-Toph without her cape in her smexy tube top alone now.
-Toph with Aang at the beginning, holding his arm. (YAYZ TAANG!)
-Aang's awesome bending in the factory, and while chasing Katara.
-Shu and Doc (Or just Shu), He was hilarious!
-The little boy who Katara helps. He was so cute!
-Katara as The Painted Lady. I'm glad she helped the town.
- THE ANIME-ISH HUMOR! :0 Come on, when Aang was like "Sokka does have a heart!" he has anime tears. Then Toph pushes him! My mother seriously laughed out loud! More Toph love!

Negatives
-Katara's long speech. I enjoyed the S1 animation in the last episode, but do they have to bring back the long, awkward speeches?
-The town going against Katara because she was a waterbender. Come on, seriously, are we going back to Zuko Alone now? Why did they have to find out in the end?
-Katara as the Painted Lady. Yes, I know I said it was positive, but it was negative as well. It was sort of predictable. Undecided

See? Was that long? 9/10

The Painted Lady wasn't that bad, the animation was excelant but it just seemed like another filler episode.
I like filler episodes when they are funny, like the headband. this one was more serious than funny,
but didn't really move the story along much. I still gave it a 9 though.  Grin

If you haven't seen the episode and have nothing to contribute then do not post. Also, I believe Nick replays its new episodes Saturday morning. Check their schedule.

One thing that worries me, this is the second episode in a row, that the gAang blow their cover to someone from the Fire Nation.

It is too early, to be slipping up like that. Last season, Zuko only slipped once. Do a better job gAang.

Well, it was nothing mind blowing or important but it managed to be somewhat entertaining.  Still... some aspects reminded me too much of Zuko Alone.

pretty good episode, reminded me of the river spirit sequence in 'Spirited Away,'  didn't like seeing the lady show up at the end because a glowy lady in flowing robes reminds me too much of Yue.  I would've just had her face show up in Katara's reflection.
