Short description: The waterbenders of the swamp teach Sokka how to swamp ski in this chibi short offered on the season two box set.

Note: Unlike the numbers for the regular episodes, the "018" designation here is just for our internal database and doesn't have anything to do with how this short may be referenced by Nick or the Avatar staff.

Quite hilarious. Tho and Due look ridiculously funny. And the super-deformed credits in all 3 shorts are magnificent.

LOVED Appa's waterskiing.  Not my favorite, but funny all the same.

Very cute short. I really liked the sound of the engine powering up when Tho stepped into the boat even though there was clearly no engine in it. Cute, smiley Sun in the sky was refreshing too. I can tell that they had fun creating all these shorts, especially with chibi-fied Sokka's derriere.

So now all 3 shorts are done and complete. Sad Sigh.

It's one of the new spoilery screenshots, albeit brightened with photoshop

Now that I've seen the short, I really liked it. Jack DeSena does an awesome job with Sokka's voice. I loved Sokka's interaction with the hillbillies.

COMEON SOCCER. BE MANLY.

Hahahaha. Interesting how many times Sokka lost his pants in that episode.
And I can also pretend that the real reason his eyes were hearting was because he saw Toph swamp-skiing. (Haha)

ANDDD. Hillbilly Aang. Love.

Water filtration device. Absolutely the best thing ever (although it would only work if the leaves were clean as well...).

Awesome short, but every time they said "showdown," I thought, "Xiaolin showdown!"

I kind of wish it had more people though.

Pretty hilarious, good for a laugh. It's way more slapstick than the other two shorts, but that's ok.

^That cracked me up.  Oh, and Appa was too cute in these shorts.  Especially waterskiing with Katara, Aang, and Toph on his head. XD

The best part was when Appa was water skiing, that was so funny. I don't like Sokka on this one, he looks like a kid instead of a teeneger but he looks so cute. I just want to hug Sokka and Aang. My favorite line was "What do you say brain-boy? You love water?" i just love Aanng's accent on this one.

ZOMG. I loved the whole "I'm not putting my feet into those skis" gag. Priceless!

This one seemed a lot better imo than Bending Battle... just funnier. I think the only halfway decent line was Iroh's "...but FIRE IS THE BEST" in BB, and even then it didn't really match the rest of the short. I loved Sokka's little pants issue though - VERY funny!

ARGH. AWS strikes again... I've been going through all my old piggy banks searching for american quarters to try and afford the magazine now that the box set came...

This wasn't the most hilarious or interesting short ever, but I enjoyed it anyway.
-Sokka's "I do love clean water!" was SO adorable.
- Aang little country accent was SO HOT (or at least it is to me)
- Sokka in his little green swimwear was so cute. He looked like a little baby when Due was trying to get him in the swamp skiis.
- Sokka getting his pants ripped off by Slim was pure win <3.

But why was Sokka's butt cheeks red? Huh

Heehee. . . I'm showing my little brother the shorts from my boxset now.

This one had to be my third favorite short. School Time Shipping had to be my first and Battle Bending was my second.

BUT SOKKA WAS ADORABLE!! =D

This short has been growing on me.  I'm not ready to dethrone "School Time" yet as the head of my personal pantheon, but...yeah, it's an acquired taste.  Kind of like swamp water.   Tongue  For some reason, the music is one of my favorite elements.  That tub-thumping Appalachian soundtrack is not only rousing but fits the action perfectly.

What ARE those things on Sokka's arms?

I interpreted them as water wings.  Swamp-style water wings.

- Aang little country accent was SO HOT (or at least it is to me)

I liked it too.  Zach Eisen has a very winning Southern accent.

But why was Sokka's butt cheeks red? Huh

I was wondering about that too.  Two theories: his bottom getting smacked against the water so much.  OR, ol' Slim isn't very accurate with his teeth.   Sad

^Why? Because of Sokka's butt? If so, don't focus on that, focus on Due and Tho's faces, which were made of pure win and awesome!

I saw it today on Nicktoons. It was really funny and I loved that last scene with Sokka's little chibified buttcheeks Tongue  I also loved Tho's chibified 5 o'clock shadow Tongue

But my favorite part was Sokka explaining his Water Filtration DeviceTM. Totally <3

"I do love cleeeeeean water *snuggle*" Cheesy
