Avatar Stick Comics! 1-26 Avatar State Mastery PART 2 WHOA

Finally, my creation is ready to be unleashed to the world! MWAHAHA-*ahem*

Sort of a project to get some random Avatar brain noise out of my head. I thought of this back in the middle of spring semester. Yes, that is quite a long time ago, but I wanted to be sure to follow through before I actually showed people my admittedly random, lazy, and pointless stuff.

Being lazy and talentless, I turned the characters of Avatar (only the GAang and Zuko, mind you) into stick figures. They're not too happy about this, and spend the first few comics complaining and commenting on their new bodies. Because I'm weird like that.

I normally don't like to post links (because I find clicking them annoying myself), but the comics are too long to fit within the 500 pixels width limit. If I shrink them anymore, I don't think people would be able to easily read the words.

So that I'd quit my rambling, here it is! The first comic in a series of at least eight or ten or more.

I love the body language that these sticky little guys are displaying. Very excellent use of the stick figure dichotomy of movement. Also, I spy Season 1 hair on stick!Zuko. Heh heh, pwnage. Oh, and double points because Aang would totally say that. X3

In conclusion, this comic shall be great and I plan on coming back to see its greatness! Keep 'em coming, Selofain!

Here's the third comic. I'm getting these out pretty fast now, but once I go back to college next week, updates really will slow down to once a week.

3. Toph CAN See

Fun fact! I debated having Katara say either "Really? But how?" and "Wow, that's amazing, Toph." You can see which one I went with. (It fit better with the joke) Kekeke, they're stick figures.

4. Cast Call

800 pixels seems a bit too small to really see all the details, but I hate side scrolling, so I refuse to subject other people to it too.

I'm considering illustrating some of the theories that pop up in the crack theory thread. The ones that CAN be illustrated in three panels, that is. That way, crack theories get love and I don't have to come up with new ideas! (Although I'm sure plenty will pop up after the new season premieres)

And I have a Zuko plushie! That has absolutely nothing to do with the thread or the topic at hand, but I have to brag. I wuv my Zuko plushie.

5. To the North Pole!

This is going to sound really weird, but I only just noticed now that my stick figures don't have noses. I've never draw noses for them.

Fire Lords probably have fancier hair thingies, but...meh.

You won't find out in the next comic. There's not going to be anymore continuity (except in references to their annoyances at being stick figures). This comic was a "what if one day Zuko was Fire Lord and he remembers that scene and decided Hey! Yeah! And drags Katara off" thing. Given that she'd probably be some sort of ambassador by then, there'd be a lot of    faces as Katara protested. And kicked his butt. Poor Fire Lord.

I can't remember what the next comic is about. Toph? No, wait...ah, yes. The next comic will reveal to the world just what a big nerd I am. Because there is a fine distinction between geeks, dorks, nerds, and of course, dweebs. The nerd side of me and the dork side of me combine when I stand in the shower, look at the water, and imagine myself waterbending. Truly, no one is an Avatard unless they've pretended to bend.
