I will definetly look at those and maybe then consider buyig them. The only thind is that I will have to race into the little kids section of the book store, grab it and run for somewhere I can read it and not get weird looks. Yeah, you get weird looks if you go into the kids section and you look like your over 13 where I live.

Awww. Alot of people say they feel embarrassed. Don't cha worry. Say it loud. Say it proud! You are gAangster (um..which means you love Avatar...hehehe)

I tried looking up the books on Amazon and so far there is pretty much no information (I was hoping that I could do the whole viewe inside the book thing). I guess it's still too early, I'll probably try again in a month.

Oh wow. As much as I may like Avatar, I'm not going to buy junior novels that most likely are mostly quotes from the episodes with a couple descriptive scentences. 64 Pages, and they font will be hugenormous and double-spaced and whatnot. IT would be cool if an actual novel for Book One: Water were released, something for a little higher age group, pre-teen or teen books. Those I would definitely buy!

This is 64 pages of Avatar Goodness we're talking about! Tongue

64 pages of 14+ point font double linespacing and probably several pictures too, so were looking at the equivilant of maybe what would be 20 pages if the books were aimed at older readers. That's enough for a small prolouge maybe. Like I said, I don't buy books unless I intend to read them. I'd finish all of them in maybe an hour and be starved for more to mentally stimulate me. I can't read these so I won't buy them.

I'm just gonna wait until I hear what people think of them before I buy them (I don't have money to throw away if it turns out their not any good). But I'm liking what I hear so far.

If they're "official" material, approved of and concidered canon by the Avatar creators, I'll definitely check them out. Otherwise I'm not going to bother. If i want fanfiction I'll find something at FF.net to read for free.

I already ordered mine, but I'm not having them shipped to late Jan.  I have the first Avatar book and it is layed out comic book style.  Not sure of the layout of the lost scroll books.

I'll have to see these at the bookstore before i decide whether i want them or not.  Im hoping theyre full of new (or at least expanded) information.  If so, chances are i will buy them.  But if theyre just a rehash of the cartoon, i'll probably pass on them unless my brother likes them.

On simonsays.com, it has the description of both the Fire And Water Books. Here they are! Enjoy!

Fire-

If you are reading this, you have uncovered one of the four hidden scrolls I have compiled about the world of Avatar. This scroll contains sacred information about the Fire Nation -- stories, legends, and facts that I have found so far about this nation -- its history and culture and tales of its past and present.

Katara describes how Aang outwits and defeats the dreaded Admiral Zhao and the Fire Navy, Aang tells how he comes to accept his destiny, and Prince Zuko recalls the time he once captured -- and lost -- the Avatar. The scroll also contains information about leaders of the Fire Nation, Firebending techniques, the spirit world, and much more.

Keep this scroll safe, and share it only with those you trust.
Beware, for there are many who wish to expose its secrets...

Water-

If you are reading this, you have uncovered one of the four hidden scrolls I have compiled about the world of Avatar. This scroll contains all of the knowledge that I have gathered so far about the Water Tribes -- their history and culture and the great tales of their past and present.

Katara recounts her discovery of the Avatar in the iceberg, Sokka remembers his childhood upon seeing their father's old friend, and Aang tells of his lessons with the Waterbending master in the North. The scroll also contains information about Waterbending moves, Healers, Water tribe traditions, and much more.

Keep this scroll safe, and share it only with those you trust. Beware, for there are many who wish to expose its secrets...

I went looking everywhere for the elusive Blue Spirit Action Figure that Paranoid told us about. While looking for it I found out that a Golden book will be released.
