Bending-Enabling Chi Suit?

So, we know that there is enough knowledge of chi to train to block it, but could their be a type of artificial material that channels chi in a way that manipulates the elements? Maybe the spirit vines could be used to link user to the artificial Power of Element so they could more accurately 'bend' material.
