Hey all, I am new to the forum and this is my first post!

OMG... The episode... It started off really slow but the last 10 minutes has to be one of the best fight sequences in TLOK and ATLA... Zaheer, Ghazan and Ming-Hua Vs Bumi, Kya and Tenzin... Am I the only one that was surprised at how Tenzin took all three of them on and was doing a good job until P'li showed up? I was like "damn"... It made me have a new found respect for Tenzin lol.

I cannot wait to see the next 2 episodes... I am literally dying to see them!

Did they kill off Tenzin? Also, who was piloting the airship when P'Li was sieging them?

This episode was awesome. That fight at the end was intense! Tongue

Also I kinda want Zuko and Iroh to talk, now. That would be awesome.

Wow, this episode escalated quickly!

So, the RL used bluff with the airbenders, and it was super effective. It was kinda' unexpected, as Korra is supposed to be smart and wise by now, she should have seen through this, but whatever. Plot is plot, I guess.

On the other hand, TOP KEK for Tenzin, way to endanger everyone for no obvious reason! But at least the fight scene was cool.

Also, I'm more and more inclined to think that spirit!Iroh is not our Iroh, but an emotional projection of Korra. His appearances are waaaay too convenient even by plot device standards.

Nearly forgot, but the Mako/Bolin/Family scenes stole the show, especially the Asami/Korra/Mako/Grandma one  Cheesy.

1)I honestly don't see the RL plot being resolved book 3.Even Tenzin couldn't beat all 4 of them.Maybe if korra enters the avatar state but even then.. chances are not looking good.

2) The fight scenes were amazing. Ming Hua was scary with the multiple water tentacles.

3) If Tenzin dies I quit.

4) If the NAT is the final confrontation area I would be pleased. It looks really cool. Though most likely, it will be Korra by herself vs Zaheer in the void. Whatever that is.

5) Finding out Mako and Bolin's grandma really adored the EQ was shocking.

This episode has finally put an end to the Zaheer vs Tenzin debate. Tenzin> Zaheer, without a doubt. This is also the first time in both series' we've seen two air benders duel!

I just realised! Where was Opal? I could have sworn she went to the northern air temple a few episodes ago?

Tenzin>Zaheer 24/7. It was expected no matter how good Zaheer is he is not going to beat  a guy who's been airbending for 50 something years.

She was wearing air nomad clothing and could be seen for a fraction of a second, somewhere during the evacuation.

Ba Sing Se is like a match stick. You rub her the wrong way and things go up in flames.

I'm no financial specialist, so I don't know how this early release effects everything, but I am so glad this came out early. I was about to watch Man of Steel again just because it was in the player and would have a ate up some time. Nothing against the movie, but I've already watched the beginning a lot for the sake of entertaining guests before they left sooner than I expected.
My point is I was having action withdrawl and this episode gave me the fix I needed. Nothing beats telekinetic wushu.

Ming Hua is now officially a movie monster in my book.

The ending was pure mood whiplash. It was like going from the most brutal moments of a noir piece to Saturday morning cartoon comic relief.

I expected Tenzin to need more provocation. Instead: "Don't do anything or things will get ugly." "You know what? Screw it. Lets get ugly!"

Tenzin is dead. It is the series Obi-Wan or Dumbledore moment. Not sure why he fought back. Korra is coming anyways.

This. So glad they didn't have Tenzin job to Zaheer.  Awesome to see him get totally WRECKED by Tenzin.  I was a little disappointed in Kya though. I felt like she should have at least put up a better fight than she did.

I hope the small shipping scene doesn't bring out the nastiness in the fandom again. I can already see the potential arguments happening..

When Tenzin said as long as I am still breathing he wouldn't give up, I got a little worried. I thought Zaheer might try the "breathless" technique again. Since Tenzin was in a weakened state, I wasn't sure if he'd be able to resist it.

Bolin fangasming at Zuko was hilarious too. I don't normally find the character funny(I feel like he and the writers try too hard most of the time, and it just doesn't really work), but I definitely got a chuckle out of that one.

The level of bending between Kya and Ming Hua, and Tenzin against Zaheer was pheonomenally brutal. It's the first bending fight from LOK or ATLA that I've actually been worried that someone would die in the middle of it. Ming Hua was definitely out to kill Kya.

I do love how awkward things got when Yin asked why Mako wasn't dating nice girls like Asami and Korra.

WHAT?!! It ended like that?! At a cliffhanger?! Dang it.

It was heartstopping to see two airbenders fighting each other but ow Tenzin, ow.

I got a feeling that Yin is getting senile? *shrug*

Yeah, that was an intense episode. I'm a bit miffed by the fluctuating power levels of the bad guys (compare the fight with the metal benders to this one), but not all that much. Great animation, a great episode.

This was one seriously intense episode at the end. I was really hoping Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi could beat these guys, but the Red Lotus was too much. They were beaten before, but I guess circumstances were much different.

The little bit with Zuko asking about Iroh was nice too. Grandma Yin is kind of weird.

Sooooooo. Who here still think Zaheer is justified in his goals? Not me! Once again this episode has shown how he is nothing more but a monster. He claims he wants to help the unfortunate yet he is causing misfortune. He showed respect to the new air benders back in 305 yet he now wants to kill them just to get to Korra. He now beats a man, a leader, a FATHER, all for the sake of his goal. Is this really the goal of the Red Lotus or is it just Zaheer and his warped perception on how he feels the world should be run?

Other than that this episode was also good.  I also liked how the bros went back for their and how Grandma unknowingly took a jab at Mako's love life and the reunion between Korra and Mako. All I can say to that is something bad is going to happen to Korra just like what happened to Aang in the Book 2 finale.
