I can't think of anything clever to say.

So I have all the dvds and the full screen format is fine but I say the show on Nicktoons the other day and noticed that it was formatted in widescreen. I then tried wide-screening it on my dvds but that caused the image to stretch and for things to get distorted. Question is, is there was way to watch it wide-screen without stretching it? Huh

my old tv had a zoom setting that cut off the top and bottom parts of the screen to force a 16:9 ratio, but when viewing a 4:3 picture, you'd just lose part of the image.
(and in the rare cases a 16:9 film was on, the network would place the subtitles over the black bottom bar, pushing them off screen <_<).
if nick is showing ATLA in widescreen, chances are they cut the top and bottom off the original footage.

if the DVD has no 16:9 mode in the menu, you're SOL. i don't have any ATLA DVD's so can't help you there
