I am sure we can all agree that one of the things that attracts us to the Legend of Korra is the top notch martial arts sequences. In that regard, what have been your 3 favourite bending or hand-to-hand fighting sequences in the show so far? What martial arts moves made you go "wow", "awesome", "ouch"? And they don't have to be exclusively Pro-bending sequences. Please comment below and let me know. You can provide pics or gifs if you wish but it isn't compulsory - especially if a poster before you has already shown the same sequence. My 3 favourite sequences so far are as follows: 3. Mako's hat trick Not that I have ovaries but hot dayum, what a stylish comeback, especially for an introduction to Mako's character! 2. Korra vs The Lieutenant Dubbing this sequence "amazing" would be selling it short. Korra showed a lot of acrobacy and agility. Very light on her feet for such a powerhouse. 1. The Wolfbat earth-water Combo It was foul play by the Wolfbats but the combo execution was excitingly brutal. And the flow to it was just.. unf!

I like that scene at the end of "The Revealation" where its Korra, Mako, and Bolin against that guy, I think the Lieutenant.

The lack of Rhinos, Rough or otherwise, is noted.

1. Korra and Lin vs Lt. and chi-blockers Especially the part where she nails him with her elbow.
2. Korra vs big equalist: She doesn't need to bend to kick ass. A scarf will do.
3. Korra and Mako vs chi-blockers Short and simple, but still very nice.
4. Korra's hat tricks: A tie between the time she just side-stepped everyone and took them out, and the time she got everyone.
5. the Final probending: I may have hated the wolfbats for their cheating, but it was fun to watch: lots of clever combos. Also gotta love Korra's simple one-two combo in the tie-breaker.

1. Lin and Korra vs. the equalists: badassery in its purest form. what i enjoyed most is Lin maneuvering through her metal wires like a circus acrobat, and the lieutenant and the equalists' moves are slick and cool. Korra's firebending moves are topnotch.
2. Korra vs. Tahno: although short, i enjoyed seeing Tahno getting what he deserved, and i enjoyed Korra being a sneaky fighter
3. Amon vs. Triad members: seeing Amon evade lightning, although impossible in real life, is chilling in a good way. the fight for their bending showcases Amon's superior chi blocking skills and power

1) DEFINETELY the Korra/Lin vs Lt/Equalists last episodes! All. Time. Period. (in Korra that is) I DO NOT KNOW how that'll be able to be topped off! :I
2) My second one is one probably a tie between that Wolfbat cheap shot and the Korra-Mako-Bolin (which people seem to have forgotten) vs Equalists fight scene back in 103
3) I honestly think the very short scene of Korra vs all of the Equalists at the Aang memorial statue is my third one.

1. Korra and Chief versus the Equalists. Hands down.
2. Korra versus the Bouncer. It was a pretty cool scene. ^^
3. Korra knocking Tahno's block off in the tie breaker. That gave me a laugh. It was great.
4. When Mako knocked Tahno over with firebending and winked at him. xD
5. Bolin stealing the show in ep5.

1. The Task Force raid on the Equalist hideout. The whole no-music fast crub stomping was awesome!
2. The two Chi-Blockers vs Korra and Mako in 103. That fight was scary in a very good way!
3. The Tigerdillos vs Fire Ferrets match. A very nice pro-bending slugfest!

Thanks for your answers people. Although if I may add, I was expecting you to choose sequences of a fight/battle rather than the whole battle itself. The way I define sequence is a "series of related shotsthat are only a part of a complete fight". Just like the examples I gave in my intro post (Wolfbat combo instead Pro-bending final, etc).

My favorite is still Korra setting up and executing her hat trick. It took me a few times watching to realize she planned out lining them all up. So brains + ability. Still #1

Favorite "fight sequence": 1. Korra/Lin vs The Equalists 2. Korra's firebending training 3. Wolfbats vs Fireferrets 4. Korra/Mako vs chiblockers
Favorite "moves" in a fight 1. Too many to list (It was great to see Tahno get his smug face smashed in by Korra)

Weeeeeell, my favorite move would be from ep6 Korra's firebending one against the Lieutenant. You know, the one where she jumps up from a handstand and is all like whoosh. It was friggin' spectacular. I need a gif of that moment.

Here you go =) My favourite was, like many others, Lin and Korra vs the equalists. Especially this part: Why is Lin SO AWESOME.

Lin/Korra vs. equalists/Lieutenant takes the cake for me - starting with Lin's wirework in the arena to get Korra up to the roof and ending with her catching Korra before she falls to her death.

Probably Asami taking out her father and the Lieutenant in one, fluid motion. She was ridiculously fast and intuitive.

^ I've just noticed with the airwheel, he's surfing on the air. Inspired by a bit of waterbending perhaps?

1. Mech battle is easily my favorite scene yet, so epic 2. Lin & Korra at the arena 3. Lieutenant vs benders in The Revelation
Underrated honorable mentions, Korra vs Firebenders and Korra vs Triads in Episode 1. Sure those guys were all way outmatched, but it was fun to watch.
I don't count pro-bending because it's more of a sport than a fight, but I still enjoy watching it.
