Hey, I really liked this episode it was so funny. There was one little mistake though. I only saw it after  I saw the episode a second time. When they spin the wheel Aang is supposed to end up boiling in oil and the community service is two tilts away. Then when the rhinos attack they spin the wheel one tilt further so that Aang does community service!
Just wanted to mention it;). Anyway great show and great episode!!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks that the Earth Kingdom could have stopped this war had Conqueror Chin been allowed to unite it. They'd have presented a far more unified fighting force and they wouldn't have overlooked people like the Mechanist who's inventions are capable of shifting the tides of war.

I can see why Kyoshi was against his actions but it would have been best left alone.
"United" does not in any way equal "invincible." That's basicly saying an Earth Kingdom tyrant would be preferable to a Fire Nation tyrant. Let one person take over the world now so a worse person can't take over the world later? Sorry, but I'm on Kyoshi's side.

Fire Kingdom dominance has resulted in ethnic cleansing, wanton destruction of the environment, pollution, slavery and goodness knows what else. I feel that members of the Earth Kingdom would not behave in such a fashion.

Anyway my point isn't that Chin is better than Ozai but rather the nature of the Earth Kingdom(not united) is one of the reasons they're losing the war.

you also have to inculde the facts that the fire nation has superior technology, and that some of the earth kingdom's  allies, air nomads and the southern water tribe, were wiped out almost completely because of fire lord sozin's genocide....that leaves the earth kingdom almost alone in the war, fighting a superior navy with superior technology, plus their only great city left now is ba sing se, if ba sing se falls the earth kingdom will lose no matter what

As I said before a united Earth Kingdom would not have had someone like the Mechanist slip through their fingers. Half(or at least the most dangerous) of the fire nations tech was designed by him.

The Earth Kingdom fractured as it is held of the Fire Nation for a 100 years what more had they been united.

In addition war criminals like Zuko and Azula wouldn't be freely wandering the land as they do now but would be facing whatever they were going to do Iroh.

thats a good point, if the earth kingdom keeps fighting this war it will eventually end up breaking....and no longer be united...there's only so much war and destruction people can take

I almost feel sorry for the Fire Nation after the war because people are definitely going to want to get their own back when the Fire Lord is defeated.

the nature of the Earth Kingdom(not united) is one of the reasons they're losing the war.

Judging from the map of the world, the Earth Kingdom is considerably much *much* larger than the Fire Nation; more space and more people automatically makes it more difficult and less logical to fully unite. The Southern Water Tribe and Earth Kingdom didn't merge into one Non-Fire Nation empire when they became allies.

well yea, but i think the earth kingdom isn't as populated, it may have more people and land, but the fire nation has all of its people on that small mass of land, so it is easier for them to be united, given the earth kingdom an immediate disadvantage, along with the killing of the airbenders, it made the earth kingdom weaker with the loss of what could have been a great ally

BTW, the maps we see are always only a two-dimensional view. Unless their world is flat, anyone wonder what's on the other side of their world?

It is impractical and difficult hence why Chin's move to unite it was their best shot. I reckon it's too late to unite it now and if it ever does unite it will be to rebuild after the war but I doubt that will last.

As they seem to have a united army(standardised equipment and uniforms suggest this heavily) one might assume they've become more unified already but it might simply be the biggest cities came up with armies and trained up volunteers from the smaller ones.

thats a good possibilty....omashu and ba sing se...etc....made the army...then trained people from other villages...i believe ba sing se is the only city keeping the earth kingdom united....if it falls the earth mkingdom does along with it...i wonder how its going to look.....

I thought Aang talking to his bald tattooed cell mates was hilarious. Asking them for advice about Katara. Hahah.

really people, at first, he thought suki was a weakling, then he got along with her (maybe even had feelings for her Roll Eyes), then left her, then fell in love with princess yue, then yue dies, then when he finds out suki's not there, he's sad, and then recently, ty lee has thinks he's cute (don't know if he even likes her though).

sokka's love life is REALLY messed up. Tongue

I don't think it's that messed up. It's normal if you think about everything else that's happened to him and that's happened in the AtLA world.

Poor Sokka, he needs someone to love that wont die, maybe Ty Lee and him will fall in love, and Ty Lee will turn on Azula, either that, or he will be with Suki.
