I hope they'll sell it on Amazon, cause that's the only way i'll be able to get it.

Anyways, this is great.

Wow. That came out of nowhere... the last we heard about this book idea was almost two years ago in the interview in the Sozin's Comet book and I figured it was just an "oh, it would be nice if we could do this but Nick will never let us and we don't have the time for it anyway" sort of idea.

It's expensive, but I am sure it's going to be amazing and huge and full-color.

...If they're done working on the book now, can they start on the next series? Cheesy

I'm so excited about Korra that I'm abstaining from specifying my expectations.

Heh, I didn't read the description very carefully, but I made some pretty accurate assumptions. 9x12 is very big and it is in full-color. Mmm, and hardcover makes me think it's got to be pretty thick. Cheesy EDIT: I am really bad at reading. Tongue It also says it has 184 pages. Not bad at all.

Oh, and before all of you get confused by the title of this thread, the description says it's coming out in May, not June.

A new series has not been confirmed right now, but still, this is a very positive development. I'm glad to know that Nick committed to this new project.

Hmm. Some book distributors are saying it comes out May 1st and Dark Horse says June 2nd.

Dark Horse is an extreamly good thing in my opinion SMBH. Grin They do amazing Comic Works, and I've bought/read several Star Wars comics from them. So yes, you may proceed to fangirl a little bit more about it!

And about the age thing, I think it's how they drew him. But I agree with Pyve. He does look a bit like Noah. Tongue Not that I mind..it's cool.

Well, it's really neither right now. As Endless noted, they're a big comic publisher, known for doing good work with licensed properties like Star Wars, Alien, Predator, Conan, and other stuff. I just find it interesting that a big, critically acclaimed publisher of licensed products now has a business relationship with Nick and Avatar, and that there's nothing saying that future products of a similar nature aren't coming.
