Official Description: Aang, Katara and Sokka discover a village of people who are all reliant on a fortuneteller in their everyday lives - but they are so reliant that they are blind to the imminent danger they are all in.

It's okay... it wasn't that awesome... I liked it how Sokka was trying to teach Ang how to get that little girl to like him, and it seemed like he was, when actually he wastrying to get Katara to like him. It was a very pretty necklace he gave her though

I loved the necklace as well. So sad it vanished into nowhere after a few scenes...

The thing about Avatar I think I like the most is that out of all the episodes I've seen, I have yet to see one I really dislike. All other shows have episodes I dispise and downright refuse to watch. So far, I've really enjoyed all 20.
However, there are a few that I don't like as much as the others. And The Fortuneteller is one of them. Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode but it just felt to plain, I guess. It was a tad boring. Sokka being hit by the fish and the "Can your science prove why it rains?" "YES! Yes it can!" bits were hilarious, but other than that, this episode was bland to me.

It was okay. ^^; I loved the Aang/Katara/Meng interaction. The part where Aang went all kickbutt at the end was awesome, and Meng's last line left me falling off my couch laughing.
"Take care!.....floozy."
I didn't know that was even allowed on Nick. xD

i liked the episode simply b/c we finally saw aang openly admit that he has feelings for katara...i mean we could have seen it coming since the first episode, but in this episode he actually tried to tell her that he has feelings for her, and sokka added some nice comedy in the episode, im a Kataang shipper forever

Well as a fellow Kataanger, this war is already over, zuko aint ever gonna hook up with katara b/c he would be too scared that she would kick his as* again, and if he tried to get katara aang would kick his as* too, so to all u Zutara shippers out there, accept the fact that zuko aint ever gettin her

It doesn't have to be a war and it isn't about reality. I understand canon and can even respect the fluffy Kataang moments. But shipping isn't really about reality, it's about enjoyment. I know Zuko and Kat will never have a romance. But I can still play around with the pairing.

I've seen a couple of Sokka/Azula fics. They all seems to invove the words 'melted icicle' a lot.

Guys, get back on topic please or take it to the Avatar Couples You Support thread just posted. This string is for discussion on episode 114. And, on topic, I agree with many here. I confess I really enjoyed this episode. It was one of the first I transcribed for ASN. Although I'm not a big shipper of any sort, I thought Aang's crush was cute and Katara's unwitting brush-offs hilarious. My favorite parts, though, were probably Sokka's run-ins with the locals. Classic.
