A poll on who is going to see the movie, who isn't, and for what reasons.

There are a lot of options concerning the casting, because many people have already decided to not see the movie because of the casting.

You can also change your vote, since your decision can change as time goes on.

Please don't bash other people's opinions. Thanks! Smiley

i'm currrently happy with the cast right now unless they screw the casting for Iroh, Bumi and Zhao!!!!!!!! i dont really expect much in the casting though, i just want to see a good movie, where Appa is brought to life and there's gonna be some serious bending!!!

This is different from "How Many Times Do You Plan To See the Movie?" It deals with how the casting issue will influence who decides to go to the movie.

Yes.

I am going to see the movie.  Probably multiple times if I get my way.  Smiley

Oh, and I'm mostly pleased with the casting.  I think that they'll do a good job.

I'm going to see the movie, although the trailers, promo shots, and word of mouth will influence whether I see in the theater for enjoyment or rent it just to see it.

I picked "No Opinion" for the casting part, because I'm unhappy with part of it, happy with other parts, and neutral on most of it.

So far 20 out of 25 people will go see the movie. If this is any indication, 80% of the hard core fans will still see the movie. Even if M Night was giving us the finger with his cast, 4 out of 5 of us will still go and watch it. I think most of the other 20% will change their mind when they get to see a trailer or two.

I'm definitely going to see the movie! I don't have any idea about the casting but since it's about Avatar, well...you know... even if it turns out really bad, it'd be about Avatar! Cheesy

I am Boycotting this movie, including my friends and family.  Grin

this is just not about the casting anymore and if you dont see it
you should keep looking. I suggest people should not watch this movies
because your giving paramount a reason to keep discrimination alive.

I hope the movie burns!!

I am a big fan of the show, and have seen each episode a minimum of 4 times, I will not be seeing this movie for reasons related to the casting. As a person of mixed ethnic heritage who has been exposed to racism on different levels, I find that such an important opportunity has been passed by for another run-of-the-mill production.

A good portion of that 80% could also changes their minds based on a trailer or two. I'm very worried we're going to get a gaudy kiddie karate flick, on a level with other Nick Movies.

You use the word "discrimination" like it's a bad thing.

Oh, you mean racial discrimination!

Well, that's not always a bad thing either. Unless you mean demeaning racial discrimination...

But actually, yeah, bring the question up in school. It will probably be a more educational debate than whatever junk is in the textbooks these days.

Meh. You can find discrimination in everything if you look hard enough.

I'm gonna see the movie. Obviously.

It will depend on a multitude of things, mainly the trailers. I think even if those are questionable I will still see the movie, if not to simply support Avatar.

I have no opinion on the casting because I have not seen them perform in any previous movie/show or in this production. Until I do I can not and will not judge them. But yes, I will see this movie and I will probably enjoy it too, even if it's from laughing at how bad it is.
