19) That lionturtle looked creepy and nice at the same time!! And that eel hound was cool!
20) It was sad when they separated to go on their missions!  :'(

25) Firelord Ozai was using flames to fly too! Cool!
26) Sokka sacrificed themselves!  :'(
27) MAN! The most amazing and epic fights in avatar ever!! Aang vs firelord and Zuko vs Azula!! EPIC!
words cannot describe how terrific it was to see those bending moves and Zuko's and Azula's flames!
28) I held my breath when Aang redirected the lighting!  Shocked And what Ozai said about the airbenders made me mad!  Angry
29) Zuko was kicking Azula's ass!! YEAH! And the most horrifying moment was when Zuko saved Katara's life! It was terrifying to see it through Katara's eyes and how he fell to the ground with all that lighting flowing through him! It looked so painful!  Katara better be super nice to him! Shocked :'(
30) Aang used Toph-bending!

I guess Aang is a fully realized avatar now, SWEET!!!

Not to mention the animation and the score was probably the best I have ever seen on a television show....EVER!!!

Can't even think of just one scene to talk about.  Every moment was in my throat.

The best scene was the beginning of Azula and Zuko's fight. The music that began just made you know that the fight was between sister and brother, and that even though Azula was evil, they have a history together as siblings. Azula crying when she was chained was also hard to see. It seemed like she had feelings.

But anyway, the episode was a tremendous success!

Azula is freaking psycho. It seems like ever since her friends left her she's been kind of crazy.
It's funny how she keeps banishing people >__<
This is going to be one of the most exciting moments of my life :'D
YAAAH TOPH! Bring it girl ;] heck yea :]

Watching Azula unravel and Toph beat the crud out of the cockpit was what made this episode amazing. But the icing on the cake was the epic battle, with matching music, for Zuko and Azula's battle. EPIC, and I enjoyed it more than I did Ozai's and Aang's.

I think its best that they left Ursa mysterious. There were no previous episodes about it except in Zuko alone and if they had shown Ursa, it would seem that the creators were rushed and just tried to shove everything in at the last minute. Keeping Ursa quesitonable is the right way to leave the series, and in a way, keeps us wondering.

I loved seeing aang stand on the rock and facing the fire lord!! It so reminded me of the intro!! I loved seeing Azula go crazy! When see was bashing people left and right, I was like thinking, you are so stupid because Zuko is going to have a better chance in defeating you, which he did!! I loved when she cut her hair, it was like if her own hair was betraying her! Classic!!

The Azula scene were very unnerving and my heart went out to her. They made her unraveling very realistic and at the same time, very unreal. The fight between her and Zuko was AMAZING. Zuko has proven himself to be equal in power even if he hasn't mastered lightening yet or blue fire.
But my favorite part of that scene was when Zuko jumped in front of Katara to save her from Azula's lightening. It was amazing and I loved it. Zuko has changed so much and he finally sacrificed his life to save another, even if he didn't die. And I'm glad to see he's ok. =D

Aang fighting Ozai was amazing as well. The effects and drawings were just mindblowing. I still have to admire Aang's spirit and will to NOT kill Ozai. While I agree with Yangchen, I'm glad that he didn't use take the offense. Aang is staying true to himself.

Final Rating:
10/10- Again Grin

Three words.

THE AGNAI KI! Oh man. The music played so terrible. I knew something bad was going to happen.
THAN. Bam.

Zuko gets shot by lighning, and on the ground flopping around in agony.

I was practically on the floor beating it and yanking my hair out.

It was amazing.

1) As much as i loved the whole "Ill show you lightning" (witch btw was AMAZING!) why the heck this Katara ran into the fight!!? why didn't she stay in her seat, I just hope someone has a real answer and not just something stupid cuz it was kinda random of Katara just running into the battle field.

But yeah im gonna give it a 10 but plz answer the Q, anyways this episode was ..words cant describe it!

Azula's slow desent into madness wasn't at all what I was expecting.  I thought I was going to feel a perverse sense of pleasure at Avatar's second-worst villain slowly unravelling at the seams.  Instead, however, I felt...sorry for her--pitied her.  Mike and Bryan did an excellent job of humanizing Azula.  Her tears at the end of the fight just shook me to the core Sad

This was such a GREAT final episode!  I loved everything about it!  AND since everyone is talking about  how great the music during the Zuko/Azula Agni-kai was, I'm going to have to watch it again!  They did seem to leave a few things open though:

1.  Where IS Ursa?
2.  Is Aang really the LAST Airbender?  If so, then the Avatar will come to an end, right?  Or perhaps there might be airbenders who are lost or something.  Perhaps a new story in trying to bring the air nomads back?

The writers of this show should be commended for their work.  They have beautifully mixed light-hearted situations with a highly dramatic story line.  Did I hear that there's going to be a real movie about this?  It's always hard to except different voices with the characters we all know and love!

Again---just an all around GREAT way to end it!  (although I'm very sad to see it end!)

Love teh Sukka moments

I have so much to say about this episode. It was defintely my favorite of the four. I now love Azula almost as much as Suki. Her character was by far the most well-played/portrayed in this episode. Her expressions and her body language were just awesome. And you were just able to watch her melt. I absolutely loved the music, especially during Azula's and Zuko's fight. Lol, me and my mom gasped when Sokka almost let Toph go. Then I screamed when I saw Suki coming in to save them. My mother just gave me a strange look. All and all, an amazingly well done finale. Most defintely some of the best cartoon animation I've ever seen. Ah, but it's all so bitter-sweet. The finale has finally aired, yet now the series has finally come to a close (that is unless the creators decide to continue a miniseries, like other small stories on the side.) I'm happy to be part of this fandom.

The finally was absolutely mind blowing. There's so much to say that I could go on about. But the music, azula/zuko agni kai and Azula's descent were what amazed me beyond belief. As for tear jerking moments? Zuko's reunion with Iroh. I felt such incredible happiness in that moment.

And now, after the game pieces have been arranged on the board, they are plunged into the fire...

Avatar has always been acclaimed for the fight scenes, but these were an entire category to themselves. The Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula... O.O The music was incredible and the whole fight had a dreamlike quality. But, I have one bone to pick with the creators over this: HOW DARE THEY? HOW DARE THEY MAKE IT LOOK LIKE ZUKO WILL DIE? No, I don't mean him being shot by lightning. I mean the combination of music, slow motion and camera angles, that made this look like a final fight. LIke Prime going down in the old Transformers Movie, like Boromir in Lord of the Rings. When a fight looses the sound effects, becomes eerily silent and the music soft and beautiful in contrast to the intense action, it means someone will die. Someone has his final moment of glory and then will go down. It hurt just to watch.

Yes, I knew beforehand Zuko wouldn't die. (I read the book) It still scared me.

The other fights were amazing, but not so intense for me. I wonder if Ozai learned the rocketbending from Azula or if he taught it to her... There are probably a thousand things I would like to comment on later or I forgot. *shrugs*

10/10 again. And I knew the underground river would be significant. I just knew. *G*

azula's talk with lo and li was great, it revieled that azula's maddness was stemed from her friends betraying her and at the end when she banished one of them was hilarious!

the agni kai was beautiful and the Ursa scene almost brought tears to my eyes.

was it just me or was the music the used for Ozai when he was frst going after aang from the movie pysco?

Lord Zuko is not amused

If there's a smiley worthy of describing this episode, it's this one:

My goodness! So many amazing things packed in here!

Azula's descent into madness. It was heartbreaking to watch. Banishing servants, the Dai Li, even Li or Lo! By the way, her throne room? With blue flames? Eerie! Shocked And then cutting her hair with scissors just because she couldn't style it the way she wanted? Wow. Ursa's appearance, while minor and in a hallucination, was still greatly appreciated.

The airship battle! The animation there was FANTASTIC! Metal armor Toph kicks some serious ass. And the birthday scam? Hilarious!

The White Lotus taking back Ba Sing Se! WOW! The Masters sure pwn'd everyone there good.

THE AGNI KAI! Holy cabbages, that Agni Kai was AWESOME! The action, the firebending, everything was incredible. And the music made it even MORE epic! And my Agni, when Zuko took the lightning shot directed at Katara, wow. He was twitching on the floor in pain! My eyes got all teary when that happened!

And of course, the battle between Aang and Ozai. Amazing. Ozai was really trying to kill Aang, he was always going for the kill! Ozai's lightning was amazing. Heh, I laughed when at the beginning he took of his robes. It was like "Now I must look sexy! Look at my abs!" Tongue

If I could rate this episode an 11, I would. Hell, I would rate it a ten billion if I could!

Continuous, mind-bending, awesome action so near the end of the story just keeps me wanting for more!!

Azula acting like a spoilt brat really brings out her meltdown to madness. All the girl ever wants is perfection. No perfection, she just goes cuckoo.

Heh, I laughed when at the beginning he took of his robes. It was like "Now I must look sexy! Look at my abs!" Tongue
LOL! Haru has sexyfine. Iroh has Irohsistible. Ozai has... abslicious? Bah, I stink at coining new terms.

All the episodes in the finale is made of pure win.

Action sequences felt real even if I was watching it in a ratty, beat-up bad quality website with the mighty pixelized version--but that didn't fail to impress me.
I felt sorry for Azula... but despite her psychological problems (the hair scene was worth gagging about though Roll Eyes) she still put a good fight Wink
The Ozai-Aang fiasco was to die for! Oh if only I knew how to make that cheeky sugar-rush smiley that vibrates... then it would be the ideal adjective converted into a symbol.
I'll find my bearing first then compose a better review later coz I'm still in orgasm. Shocked

This one gets a ten!  Action till it comes out of your ears, intensive firebending, and the legendary Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula.

Comment: Zuko was absolutely correct - he could take Azula on, and he was clearly winning... until he started gloating about Azula's failure to use lightning.  This gave Azula ideas...

...and Zuko accepted the Agni Kai in the first place to protect Katara...
...and Zuko nearly ended up dying to protect Katara, who was only threatened because of his big mouth...

It's obvious: we're gonna need a team to dig up all the irony and subtle signs that are hiding in the four-part finale.

Still, a clear 10/10

(And where's that Track Team soundtrack already?  I need that Agni Kai music...)
